Keep Your Counter Clean And Spoons Close With This Genius Gadget

Having a good flow in the kitchen is essential no matter what you’re cooking. If you have to stop and reach across the counter for your spoon, it’s going to slow you down and distract from the deliciousness you’re making. Never mind the fact that when you set your utensils down, you’re often left with a drippy mess that needs cleaning up. Fortunately, Belwares’ famous Spoon Dock provides a solution to all these kitchen quandaries. This utensil holder clips on to the side of your pot so all of your stirring spoons and spatulas are easily accessible. It’s designed to fit almost all round pots and saucepans, and can be used on gas, electric and induction cooktops. When you use the Spoon Dock, the grease and leftover food from your spoons and utensils go inside of it instead of all over your countertop. You can dump the grease and give your Spoon Dock a quick rinse in the sink or pop it in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. The Spoon Dock can also stand alone as a utensil crock. And when you’re not using it to store your kitchen tools, it conveniently doubles as a measuring cup. Whether you’re a professional chef or a home cook, the Spo...

Faith-based film on addiction, autism connects with audience

WILKES-BARRE — In 75 minutes, the audience went on an emotional train ride through one man’s recovery from addiction. At the end, they saw parts of themselves on that journey, much to the delight of the train’s conductor. “Right Before Your Eyes” premiered Wednesday at Movies 14 with its writer/director David Vincent Bobb and actor Brian O’Halloran introducing the faith-based film to an audience of more than 50 people. Bobb based the film on his own battles with addiction with the film’s central character, Ethan (Adam Ratcliffe), falling deep into alcohol dependency before lifting himself up through faith and family to be a father to his son Lucas (Sean McCurdy), who has severe autism. O’Halloran was cast as Ethan’s roommate John. Wilkes-Barre was one of nine Pennsylvania stops for “Right Before Your Eyes,” as Bobb is traveling with the film to build a fan base and to promote it through word of mouth. “It’s a great time here, and I’m glad that people are coming out,” O’Halloran said before the screening. “It’s showing all week long here, so come on out.” Bobb said that one of the highlights of touring has been hearing from viewers “bearing their souls” about addiction after watc...

What Will the Madison Square Garden Company Be Worth Post-Split?

<!–*/ */ /*–>*/ Madison Square Garden is an iconic New York City landmark and a coveted performance venue for professional athletes and performers alike. Not only does it own world-renowned sites like its namesake as well as Radio City Music Hall, the Beacon Theatre, the Forum in L.A., and The Chicago Theatre, it’s also home to legendary sports franchises the New York Knicks and the New York Rangers. Recently, though, the company approved plans to break apart its portfolio. What does this mean for investors? On Dec. 3, Madison Square Garden’s board approved its proposal to spin off its entertainment businesses into a separately traded public company during the first calendar quarter of 2020. Executive Chairman and CEO James L. Dolan believes the spinoff makes sense because it “…would create two distinct companies for MSG shareholders, each with a defined business focus and clear investment characteristics. One company would be a leader in live entertainment that would take advantage of significant opportunities to grow rapidly within the changing entert...
